Türkiye's science-based food technology investment
Years of accumulated R&D, a multi-layered revenue architecture, and an incentive-certified factory vision — the right structure, at the right time.
Hyggefoods is in a scaling phase, driven by growth engines spanning software, registered consumer brands and an R&D portfolio. The Hyggefoods Aydın Factory will focus on the next-generation functional bar category, one of the fastest-growing snack segments in the global market; our investment holds an investment incentive certificate under the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology's Local Development Initiative Program. We are open to equity partnership, strategic collaboration, and project-based investment discussions.
Why Hyggefoods? — Through different lenses
Market & Brand
We are a contemporary food technology company with uninterrupted R&D since 2018. With our registered brand portfolio, our scientific content production, and our "domestic and national advanced food technologies" positioning, we have built a brand architecture capable of capturing the global functional food wave from Türkiye and establishing category ownership.
Operations & Technology
We have an integrated infrastructure spanning laboratory to production, and an innovation capability that sets us apart in the industry. Our knowledge base is ready for joint business development with many companies: a foundation built for contract R&D, joint product development and technology transfer. Our incentive-certified smart green factory vision offers a clear path to scale.
Finance & Risk
We are experienced with public support programs; our capability to apply for and execute TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB and EU funding gives us access to public support alongside investor capital. Our investment incentive certificate and multi-layered revenue architecture create a structure that reduces dependency on a single revenue source.
Global Vision
We have a corporate culture that speaks the international language of science — following peer-reviewed literature, capable of forming global partnerships — along with an export-oriented product architecture and multilingual corporate communications. The scientific, operational and commercial infrastructure required to become a global player is already in place today.
Global Opportunities
We open into international markets through an established network
Entering a new market doesn't mean building a representation network from scratch.
We have operated within YTÜ Yıldız Teknopark since 2018. As one of the technoparks contributing most to Türkiye's technology exports, this structure doesn't just provide its member companies with a campus; it offers an office network and support mechanism built for expanding into international markets.
For a company building an export-oriented production model, this access is one of the supporting components of the strategy. Having a corporate point of contact, a local ecosystem connection and a promotional channel already established in a target market directly affects the time and cost of market entry.
YTÜ Yıldız Teknopark's international office network takes on different functions in different regions.
Dubai
United Arab Emirates
Located within the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), this office was established as Türkiye's first International Technology Marketing Office. It provides market access and business development support for companies looking to expand into Middle Eastern and Asian markets, and offers the opportunity to partner with Turkish and international firms in the region.
London
United Kingdom
Located at Battersea Power Station, this office is positioned as an access point to the UK and European markets. London's role as a finance and technology hub gives it a distinct function for international investor and partner contacts.
Amsterdam
Netherlands
Positioned for activities directed at the European Union market, this office forms an entry channel into the Western European ecosystem.
Tashkent
Uzbekistan
Operating as a technopark and incubation center, this office forms the connection point opening into Central Asian markets.
Skopje
North Macedonia
Located on the International Balkan University campus, this office serves as a hub for activities in the Balkans region, giving companies in Türkiye the opportunity to open an office, run projects and develop local partnerships in the region.
San Francisco
United States
Located in Silicon Valley, this incubation center provides acceleration programs and network access at the heart of the technology ecosystem.
Planned locations
The network continues to expand. Berlin, Chicago and Detroit are among the locations planned to open.
What the network offers
| Benefit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Market access | A corporate point of contact and local ecosystem connection in the target market |
| Mentorship and advisory | Knowledge transfer during the internationalization process |
| Promotion and trade fairs | Representation opportunities at international events |
| Global network | Integrated network and partnership channels across offices |
| Access to funding | Access to international support programs |
What this means for Hyggefoods
Our export strategy has two components. The first is the product side: our formulations are developed with international sensory profiles in mind, and our labeling and nutrition declaration approach is planned according to the regulatory framework of target markets.
The second is the access side: when entering a new market, we can meet the need for representation, promotion and local connections through an already established structure. Together, these two cover both the product and market dimensions of the export process.
From an investor's perspective, this means a shorter path to scale. A significant portion of the infrastructure needed for international expansion is no longer an item the company has to build entirely with its own investment.

invest@hyggefoods.coRevenue Architecture
At the center of Hyggefoods' revenue structure is the conversion of R&D output into value-added product and exports. Around this central axis sit two more layers that draw on the same scientific infrastructure and diversify revenue. The entire structure is fed from a single source: knowledge produced in the laboratory.

First layer
Production and export revenue
The company's main revenue engine is the production and sale of value-added functional food products that are the output of our R&D programs. The economic logic of this layer lies in the value gap between raw material and finished product.
Domestic agricultural raw material carries limited value when sold unprocessed. When the same raw material is turned into a functional product through formulation knowledge and process technology, its value multiplies. What makes this transformation possible is a repeatable body of technology; this is the company's most defensible asset. The Hyggefoods Aydın Factory is where this transformation happens at industrial scale. Lab-verified formulations gain production volume here. This facility, built under an investment incentive certificate, is the scaling mechanism of the revenue architecture.
The export dimension
Our product architecture is designed to be export-oriented from the outset. Formulations are developed with international sensory profiles in mind; the labeling and nutrition declaration approach is planned according to the regulatory framework of target markets.
This creates a two-way advantage. First, export revenue is denominated in foreign currency and follows a different dynamic than domestic market fluctuations. Second, value-added food products carry a markedly higher unit value compared to raw material exports; this is the most efficient way to convert Türkiye's agricultural capacity into export revenue.
Proximity to the Aegean region's agricultural production capacity provides a structural cost advantage in raw material sourcing. Choosing the factory location this way is a deliberate decision built on supply chain proximity.
Second layer
Contracted institutional revenue (B2G and B2B)
Functional food supply to public institutions and institutional buyers is carried out through a tender and framework contract structure. The nature of this layer is volume predictability: a supply program spread across the contract period defines production planning and factory capacity utilization from the outset.
This is directly linked to the production layer. Predictable contract volume raises the capacity utilization rate and lowers unit cost. In public procurement processes, qualification certificates, accredited laboratory infrastructure and technical documentation capacity are entry requirements. These requirements create a barrier to entry for players that don't have the technical infrastructure already in place.
Third layer
Recurring digital revenue (SaaS)
MenuOnay and Regumind subscriptions form a contracted, recurring revenue base. The function of this layer is to provide a predictable flow that balances the seasonal nature of production revenue.
Both platforms are built on regulatory compliance; from the customer's perspective, this is not an optional service but infrastructure required to keep operating. This keeps subscriptions from being among the first items cut during economic downturns. The platforms also serve a second strategic function: the MenuOnay customer base forms a directly accessible institutional network in the food industry — a ready-made channel for the institutional product side.
The link between the layers
These three layers are not independent business lines; they are all fed from a single source — our R&D and laboratory infrastructure.
The laboratory supports both our own product development and the analysis services offered through the platform. Our R&D knowledge base feeds both export-oriented consumer products and institutional formulations. The platform customer base opens a channel to the institutional product side. The economic counterpart of this structure is that the same scientific infrastructure serves all three revenue layers at once. Growing into a new product or a new market does not require building technology from scratch.
Industry Dynamics
All three areas we operate in are undergoing structural transformation. The forces driving this transformation are long-term, not cyclical.
Functional food
Consumers expect more from food than fullness alone: protein density, fiber content, reduced sugar. An aging population, growing metabolic health awareness, and a shift toward plant-based eating are making this demand permanent. The category is growing by taking share from the conventional snack market.
Food safety digitalization
Obligations around allergen disclosure, traceability and inspection readiness increase every year. Businesses struggle to manage these processes with paper and spreadsheet files. As the regulatory burden grows, the shift toward solutions that digitalize compliance processes is accelerating.
Chemical regulatory compliance
KKDİK registration processes and classification obligations cover firms of every scale operating in the chemical sector. Compliance has become an obligation that requires expertise and continuity.
Türkiye's position
Agricultural production capacity and geographic location create export potential in value-added food products. Processing domestic raw materials with advanced processing technologies is the way to realize this potential.
